Matua Residential Estate
The Matua Residential Estate – Stage One – has 8 hectares of easy rolling country with one gulley cutting through the site. An existing stream is be to temporarily diverted around permanent wetlands and detention pond area, while works are undertaken.
When works are completed the stream is to be reinstated into the permanent detention pond and wetlands, creating a valuable amenity and wildlife area for residents and wildlife alike to enjoy.
Scope of Works
20,000 m³ of topsoil to be removed and re-spread
10,000 m³ of unsuitable material to be re-worked or removed from site
50,000 m³of cut to fill
The Matua Residential Estate will comprise ten lifestyle blocks of 1500 – 1572 m² and 59 standard house sections 650 m² – 860 m².

Water quality is monitored monthly by Council Inspectors – Silt Ponds on this sub-division have attained Level 1 in monthly inspections. This is the highest attainable score for Silt Control assessment with Council.
